This one is very relevant for Gadget Master readers. The latest competition on Electronics Weekly, giving you a chance to get your hands on an STMicroelectronics IoT kit.
We actually have three of these STM32L4 Discovery Kit IoT Nodes from STMicroelectronics to give away, in association with Farnell element 14.
The STM32L4 Discovery Kit IoT Node is designed to help people develop their next IoT application quicker.
It’s based on Cortex-M4 hardware, with simple software and there’s support to connect intelligent nodes to cloud servers and build services.
The four wireless modules available on the board are:
- Bluetooth V4.1 module
- Sub-GHz (868 or 915 MHz) low-power-programmable RF module
- Wi-Fi module
- Dynamic NFC tag with its printed NFC antenna
Terms and conditions are below the form where you have to give your name and address, etc, to Farnell.
The competition closes at the end of play 30 September.
Good luck! And stay tuned to ElectronicsWeekly.com for announcement of the winners.
ST writes:
The new high-connectivity STM32L4 IoT Discovery kit gives unrivalled flexibility for developers building IoT (Internet of Things) nodes by supporting multiple low-power wireless standards and Wi-Fi, while integrating a complete collection of motion, gesture, and environmental sensors, unavailable on other kits in the market.
Designed to help developers promptly connect IoT devices to Cloud services power-efficiently and cost-effectively, our new IoT development kit adds modules for wireless connectivity and a dynamic NFC-tag IC with printed antenna to a high-performance, ultra-low power STM32L4 microcontroller all on the same board.
