Called TRIO mXTEND, the multi-band and multi-port antenna component is reconfigurable by the user.

This chip antenna has been designed for mobile operation in three different frequency bands: 698-960MHz, 1710-2690MHz and 3400-3800MHz.

Physically the device is small, measuring only 1.0 mm in height.

The antenna is intended for operation in the main mobile communication standards, enabling worldwide coverage, such as GSM850/900/1800/1900, LTE1800 to LTE3700 (698-960MHz, 1710-2690MHz and 3400-3800MHz), the main short range wireless bands such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2400- 2500MHz and 4900-5875MHz), as well as the Global Navigation Systems such as GPS, Glonass, and Beidou (1561MHz, 1575MHz and 1598-1606MHz).

It will be demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month.
