Amplicon powers up DIN rail PC with Intel Atom

Amplicon has introduced its first DIN Rail PC to feature Intel Atom processors.

Designated the Impact-D 100AL, it is a fanless design with a standard operating temperature of -20°C to 70°C, with options for -40°C to 80°C in outdoor operations.

The Apollo Lake processors support high end 4K graphics and fast video acceleration, which makes the embedded PC suitable for in-vehicle usage or on-board entertainment.

As well as a range of I/O, the unit provides cellular and Wi-Fi capabilities for applications requiring offsite connectivity or remote operation.
