We have three of the new devboards as prizes, thanks to Farnell element14, which are worth £17 each. Enter the compo »
The boards are aimed at NFC-related prototyping – for applications such as smart home gateways, motion control, wearables and robotics – and the LPC8N04 requires a minimal number of external components.
Farnell says:
The LPC8N04 contains multiple features, including multiple power-down modes and a selectable CPU frequency of up to 8MHz, for ultra-low power consumption.
Key features:
- Arm Cortex-M0+ core running up to 8 MHz
- Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC)
- Arm Serial Wire Debug (SWD)
- 32 kB flash, 8 kB SRAM, 4 kB on-chip EEPROM
- Up to 12 General-Purpose I/O (GPIO)
- Programmable Watchdog Timer (WDT)
- Real-Time Clock (RTC) Timer
- NFC/RFID ISO 14443 type A interface
- Serial I2C-bus supporting full I2C-bus specification and Fast-mode with a data rate of 400 kbit/s
- SPI/SSP interface
- The LPC8N04 can also be powered from the NFC field
- Activation via NFC
- Temperature sensor with +/- 1.5°C accuracy from – 40°C to 85°C
- Compatible with MCUXpresso IDE and other popular toolchains (incl. IAR and Keil)
The closing date is 30 April 2018.
Good luck!
