Arriving only a week later than in the UK, the Samsung Gear S3 is now available to pre-order in Australia with an official release date of November 18. 

Customers can now order Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch from Harvey Norman, Samsung Experience Stores, and Samsung’s own online store, with wider availability promised at launch. 

The Gear S3 will be available in two distinct styles – the Gear S3 Classic has a more sophisticated and traditional timepiece style for everyday occasions, while the Gear S3 Frontier will sport a tougher, more rugged look, with Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ making sure it can take a beating and keep on ticking. 

Regardless of which version you pick up, you’ll be happy to know that both Gear S3 smartwatches have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

As an added bonus, pre-orders of the Gear S3 Frontier at participating retailers will receive a free hero red watch band. If red isn’t your colour, you’re in luck – the Gear S3 will support any standard 22mm watch band. 

Both Gear S3 devices will be available from November 18 for $599.
