Graphene finds a use in golf balls

A graphene infused outer skin of the ball can be made thinner than the skin of a conventional golf ball  which allows for a larger core which increases the speed at which the ball flies and gives the golfer more distance on his shot.

“I love this ball and it allows me to hit a variety of shots while gaining yardage from the tee,” says Sergio Garcia, “when I first tried it, I thought ‘how can this ball go further than my old one, yet spin more around the green?’ From there the switch for me was a no-brainer.”
