“We met with representatives of Broadcom for two hours earlier today, and listened carefully to what they had to say,” says  Qualcomm,  “the Qualcomm board will promptly meet to discuss the meeting and to determine next steps.”

If no deal is reached the bid moves to a denouement on March 6th when Qualcomm shareholders will be asked to vote for enough Broadcom nominee directors to give Broadcom a majority on the Qualcomm board.

if Broadcom does not get a majority on March 6th, CEO Hock Tan says he will “walk away”.
