Q1 tablet sales fell  fell 11.7% y-o-y, says IDC. The iPad had 28.8% market share. Samsung was second with 16.7%.

Apple sold 9.1 million units while Samsung sold 5.3 million.  Huawei came in third, with 3.2 million sold and 13%  growth y-o-y.

 Of the 9.1 million iPads shipped, 1.8 million were iPad Pro.

 Windows on ARM tablets are starting to enter the market.
