Update: Apple has just launched the new iPad Pro at WWDC 2017.

12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 price

Apple has made the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 better value than its predecessor. The entry level device boasts 64GB of storage and a $799 price tag – that’s the same as the entry level original, but the new version now was double the storage.

Apple has ditched the 128GB mid-storage size and replaced it with 256GB at $899 (a saving of $50), while at the top end you’ll get 512GB for $1099.

Like with the original iPad Pro duo, there are two new iPad Pro 2 tablets, with the smaller slate getting a screen boost from 9.7 inches to 10.5 inches.

Apple’s reasoning for the increased size of the smaller iPad Pro 2 revolves around the keyboard. The 10.5-inch display the perfect size for a full size on-screen keyboard, and also for a full size keyboard case.

The size of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 remains compact, with Apple reducing the bezels around the screen by 40%, plus the weight remains just 1 pound.
